Mystic Fitness’ Sweat-N-Soul-O-Meter is a measuring tool to help students accurately gauge the yoga classes that best match the physical and spiritual experience that they are seeking.

The Sweat-N-Soul-O-Meter measures:

The amount of Aerobic Activity in a class
The amount of Physical Challenge, with regard to Strength and Endurance (not flexibility), in a class
The amount of Relaxation and Meditation time in a class

The Sweat-N-Soul-O-Meter scale is from 1 to 5, where 5 tree poses means there is a lot, and 1 tree pose means there is the least.

How to choose yoga classes that fit YOU best

Since no two yoga classes at Mystic Fitness are the same, when choosing which classes will make you the happiest, please consider the following criteria:

The temperature of the class

Hatha and Vinyasa classes are 84 degrees

Power classes and Rockin’ Vinyasa are 95 degrees

Bikram and Hot classes are 105 degrees

The description of the type of yoga

Hatha Yoga

A very gentle flow and stretch, and a spiritual journey.

Bikram

A set, slow-moving sequence of 26 postures that can be practiced by students working at any level.Great for beginners (easy to learn), great for masters as well, and everyone in-between.

Hot

A set, slow-moving sequence of 32 postures. Includes many Bikram postures plus some Vinyasa postures. Created by Jimmy Barkan. Great for students of all levels.

Vinyasa

Yoga flow that emphasizes the connection of movement with breath.

Power

Athletic yoga with a focus on connecting movement with breath. Highly aerobic.

Rockin' Vinyasa

A powerful and athletic flow class with music and attitude. Highly aerobic.
